Disorders in the organ of vision regarding refractive errors, strabismus, amblyopia, affect the physical and mental development of the child. The paper discusses the main changes in the balance and movement system, as well as in the intellectual development of the child associated with visual disturbances. Visual impairment weakens the static and dynamic balance of body position. It also adversely affects the intellectual development and mental state of the child with strabismus. The therapeutic management of strabismus should take into account all the factors related to visual abnormalities.
