ABSTRACT
Uveitis is a significant civilizational issue contributing to a substantial decline in the quality of life. Its etiology is complex, ranging from autoimmune to infectious causes. The Posner-Schlossman Syndrome is characterized by recurring episodes of inflammation of the anterior segment of the uvea and elevated intraocular pressure. Although traditionally classified as secondary open-angle glaucoma, its etiopathogenesis has not been fully elucidated. Understanding it is essential to apply effective treatment and maintain proper vision.
